“ the service was among the best that I have found in Tucson and the friendliness shown was delightful. My problem is I have lived in the Far East, for ten years with the US NAVY and up and down the coasts on of the USA and I am spoiled by the places I have eaten, most of the best ones were not fancy at all but had amazingly great food, so with that in mind , the pork chop suey was not what I have come to love. It was all bean sprouts and a little bit of something dark green like spinich.It lacked color which would be made by adding celery, carrots, onions, green and red peppers, and of course bamboo sprouts and water chesnuts. And thin strips of well seasoned pork. The hot and sour soup had the necessary ingredients to surpass most of the competition in Tucson , for just a little tweaking it would be the best. It needed a tiny bit more rice vinegar ,lovely chopped green onion , and a dash of real red chili pepper to be the best in Tucson. It was a winner with the tofu and shredded pork. I remember the best I ever had , if I recall correctly had wood fungus in it. It was superb. The sauce on the barbeque ribs needed to be thicker but was mighty good. I would use baby pork ribs not the large ones. The fried rice was good. No complaints. I am here to speak about pork chop suey. I want the real mccoy. What this interior lacked in fanciness , called ambiance they made up with the selling point this place has, which was the charm and kindness of the whole staff. I loved being treated like that, and I had not been treated that well at some of the top rated places. I am going back for more soup and to see if the next time I get something I can rave about on here. Thanks for the pleasant experience. I will be back. ”
